It sounded promising, but running a prompt on this model and on SDXL clearly shows that it can't beat SDXL. Another downturn was that the fp16 model needs more then 12Gb VRAM. 12 or less you have to quantize. I ran it on ConfUI and SDXL on A1111 same hardware.
did you use Chinese prompt or English prompt? it worked better in Chinese, while sdxl don't have Chinese support unless finetuned
Do you use SDXL base model or a finetune? This Kolors is just a base model, don't compare it with finetune ones.
