Is Bloom still being improved and updated or was it just released and abandoned?

I can't find any up to date news or information on this project's continued development. Open source projects usually have volunteers working on them and updates every now and then.
There are works continuing development of BLOOM, like fine-tuning on latest Alpaca dataset etc. FYI https://huggingface.co/BelleGroup/BELLE-7B-2M is one such example.
