- Go to the model page
- Read the Llama 3 Community License Agreement
- At the bottom of the agreement, there's an Accept License button, click it

Do not request a DOI, that's unrelated to getting access to the model

I have received the access for this model, but when I'm trying to access the model in my program, it shows the repo is gated.
The environment variables have been updated along with the hugging face token still the problem persists.
I've applied for access weeks ago and still haven't been granted it. Any chance this has slipped through?
What have I missed? I accepted the license terms, waited till my gated access was accepted (about 45 minutes ago), set up an API read access token. But I am still getting the gated model error in my app:
SError: You are trying to access a gated repo.
Make sure to have access to it at https://huggingface.co/meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3-70B-Instruct.

Do I have to download the model manually or should the transformer pipeline do this for me?
What should I do if my request to access the model has been rejected?
How to resubmit my request?

Tried both token types : finegrained (with repo permissions) and write tokens. I already have access to the gated model.
This is a very annoying error even when loading the model and it needs to be addressed clearly.
