New iOS interface and accessibility suggestions
First, this is an amazing app, I LOVE it and the potential it represents in an evolutionary step in AI for normal people.
Second, I DO understand this is the first release but also know how important it is to do the things below as part of a culture rather than an after thought.
I’ve been in the technology world for a long time and just wanted to make a few suggestions to allow the new app to appeal to a larger user base with some focus on disability and digital accessibility:
Should be able to the keyboard only interactions with the app.
Include highlighted focus point for interaction location identification
The app does not work with Apple VoiceOver and crashes
App should work in portrait AND landscape mode
Should be able to be used in any screen size or orientation
Needs to have keyboard only features e.g. don’t require touching the screen to send the message but allow for Shift+Enter to do that.
Allow for Delete using a left swipe as well and arrow keys and delete key
Hamburger menu result layout needs work, potentially have icon tabs at the bottom of the screen or a simple dropdown menu
There are quite a few more issues so if you find my input useful please reach out to dan@danhornconsulting.com or https://linkedin.com/in/danhorn and I’ll be happy to help.
