The works of Lois Van Baarle, Ross Tran and Ilya Kuvshinov and many other artists were included in the training dataset for this model without the permission of the creators of these images.

It's usage of copyrighted images without the permission of the authors to derive a product and allow it to be used for commercial purposes. The LAION dataset contains copyrighted images and private images and at the very least this dataset and models trained on it should only be allowed for research-only use.
