These utterance level time-alignments are taken from the json transcriptions distributed with Spjallrómur. This corpus does
not say that it comes with aligned transcripts, so a lot of alignment errors could be expected. However, at the sentence level,
the alignment often seems very good (even if words within the sentence are aligned badly) and bad alignments usually still
point near a relevant part of the conversation.
This is not intended as a nicely designed website. I haven't really made websites since before CSS.
Transcript/playback style is slightly based on
CHILDES corpus browser (old version), with
the addition that audio stops playing at the end of the line you clicked on. caitlinr@ru.is
